Prayer October 12, 2015

Father,
Good Morning!
     Thank You for Your teachings and the Teachers You put in our lives. The Holy Spirit being the main one! The Holy Spirit reveals so much to us and leads us into a deeper understanding of You and Your ways.
     This morning I was shown and learned that we often blame You for the paths that people choose to walk. ~ We blame You when people harbor bitterness or fear and then a disease develops from their wrong thoughts or words. ~
     We blame You when people's own choices cause disaster. ~ Even when we think someone is a perfect Christian there are things in their hearts that we don't know! We blame You for things we don't know or don't understand. ~
     “The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?  Jeremiah 17:9     Our own hearts are deceptive! Please reveal to me the secrets of my heart and show me what I need to confess-repent-and be cleansed of. Please don't let me be deceived.
     Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 
     The next thing Your Spirit showed me was from Matthew 8:24-26....Jesus was asleep on the boat - a storm arose and they woke Him to save them - He asked "Why are you timid, you men of little faith?" ...Father I don't want to be timid and I don't want to be of "little faith"!
 ~ I want to walk in the courage of Your power!
 ~ I do want to calm the storms!
 ~ I do want to be a woman of great faith!
     Thank You for showing me these verses and please help me to absorb the lesson! Thank You that You are completing a good work that You have started! Thank You the power is Yours! Thank You that as I grow in You, Your authority grows in me!
     Thank You for loving me and letting me be Your daughter! Thank You Jesus, my King and Redeemer! You restored the relationship with my Heavenly Father through Your sacrifice and Your Victory! Thank You Holy Spirit, through Your power, leading and guidance I am going where I need to go.
